The Altar Guild has the important job of getting everything ready for worship services. This includes setting up the altar with things like Communion bread, wine or grape juice, cups, candles, and linens based on the church calendar and special events. They also make sure the Communion dishes are clean and well-maintained, take care of altar linens and candles, work with church leaders for specific needs like baptisms and weddings, keep track of supplies, and train and find helpers. Their careful work makes sure the worship space feels respectful and meaningful.
